Today this young brand known for innovation, style and modernity is a leader in the Nigerian premium cosmetics segment. Montaigne Place spearheaded by Alali H. Hart, who holds an MBA from Insead, France, has consistently broken grounds in the beauty and well-being industry.
Montaigne Place has consistently been recognized for its outstanding professionalism, innovation and contribution to the development of the Nigerian beauty and well being industry and as a result, the black|Up brand was chosen as the exclusive make-up brand for the inaugural Arise Magazine Fashion Week, Lagos 2011 and was responsible for all the exquisite and stunning make-up looks seen on the runway. A team of 30 black|Up make-up artists worked tirelessly behind the scenes to create looks for 50 different shows in the three days of the fashion week.
Montaigne Place and black|Up have also been the exclusive make-up partners for the yearly international Elite Model Look Competition, currently in its fifth year. The company currently has Fifteen stores located in Lagos, Abuja and Port Harcourt, with plans to roll out three more outlets in 2012.
